USED Royal Arms Remington 870 Breaching SBS 12 Gauge – LE Configuration with Hogue Grip

This Royal Arms Remington 870 12 Gauge Breaching SBS is a purpose-built short-barreled pump-action configuration originally associated primarily with law-enforcement applications. Royal Arms of Lewisburg, Tennessee configured these 870s with an extremely compact barrel, an aggressive stand-off/breaching muzzle device, pistol-grip-only layout, and high-visibility fiber-optic front sight. These examples represent an unusual opportunity to own a Royal Arms configuration that has historically been difficult to find on the commercial market.

The shotgun features a Hogue rubberized pistol grip with finger grooves, black finish, tubular magazine and the distinctive Royal Arms breaching muzzle device. The large ported and toothed muzzle device immediately distinguishes this model from a conventional short-barreled 870. The barrel marking on the pictured example reads “12 GA. FOR 2 3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS.” We currently have two examples available, including another example capable of accepting 3-inch shells, so chamber specification and serial number will vary depending on the individual shotgun received.

These are among the first examples of this specialized Royal Arms breaching configuration we have had available from the commercial market. Condition is very good to excellent overall, with some normal handling and storage marks visible. This is a particularly interesting piece for collectors of law-enforcement equipment, specialized Remington 870 variants and uncommon Royal Arms builds.
